TÜMOSAN has advanced to the final of the Tractor of the Year 2027 award, marking the Turkish manufacturer's strongest showing yet in one of Europe's most competitive machinery contests.

The Tractor of the Year award, judged annually by a panel of European farm machinery journalists, ranks new tractor models on performance, innovation, and value for farmers. Reaching the final puts TÜMOSAN alongside established European brands in a competition that historically has been dominated by major manufacturers.

Why does a finalist slot matter?

A place in the final round gives the tractor maker visibility across European dealer networks and farm media at a moment when buyers increasingly weigh fuel economy and total cost of ownership against headline horsepower. For TÜMOSAN, which builds tractors for both domestic Turkish farmers and export markets, the recognition can translate into showroom traffic well beyond its home base.

For farmers, award shortlists serve as an early screening signal. Models that reach the Tractor of the Year final typically undergo independent field evaluation by the jury before the winner is announced, giving buyers comparative performance data rather than marketing claims alone.

What happens next?

The jury will now evaluate the finalist machines ahead of the Tractor of the Year 2027 verdict, traditionally unveiled at a major European farm machinery event in the autumn preceding the award year. Farmers weighing a tractor purchase in that cycle should watch for the full shortlist, jury scores, and the final announcement, which will confirm whether TÜMOSAN converts its finalist position into the top prize.
